VW T3 Input Shaft Petrol WBX 091 311 105 HD. Weddle racing torsional 300m input shaft for VWT3 and Type 2 gearboxes, long snout (298mm overall length). Note: the long snout input shaft is for vehicles with vw type 4 or waterboxer engines only.
Reduce shock loading. Our weddle racing input shafts are much more effective at dampening shock loads than the stock vw input shafts, and they work to significantly reduce stresses in the transmission and drivetrain. The diameters and fillets have been carefully designed to maximize torsional twist without sacrificing strength. This can make a huge difference in the longevity of components, especially in high performance applications. Each shaft is manufactured from custom-spec ultra high quality 300m steel, through-hardened, and shot peened to maximize strength and fatigue resistance.
Can also be used in Type 2 Bays from 1972 on for the Type 4 engines where the pilot bearing is located i the end of the crankshaft for earlier Type 2 petrol engines use the shorter shaft input shaft. Fits all T WBX engines including air cooled Type 4 and 72-79 Type 2 air cooled Type 4 WBX can also be used in Subaru conversions with RJES Bell housings.
