VW T3 Syncro Front Differential rebuild/ repair service package. This service involves the replacement of all common wear items and strip and rebuild of your Differential with new thrust washers and hardened roll pin. . We rebuild Front Differentials to the Original VW factory tolerances, to do that it is necessary to replace all the consumable wear items, i.e. bearings, seals, and bushes. We also replace single-use parts such as circlips as per the factory rebuild procedure. All bearing preloads and backlash is measured meticulously, and the box is set up accordingly. The aim is to restore your Differential as close to new as possible.

If your Differential is broken it will need this service plus whatever components replacing that are not covered here. If you are wishing to upgrade your Differential to a locking one or change the ratios etc you will also need this service plus whatever parts you require.
Until we inspect your Differential it is very hard to give you a more accurate quote on what it needs.

Upon receipt of your booking fee we shall supply you with shipping instructions on how to send your gearbox to us. We have currently secured very low prices from my courier company for shipping (approx. 75 euros per gearbox from Europe ). Usually, within two weeks of receiving your gearbox, We shall be able to give you a full inspection report and my suggestions for your rebuild. These are to suit various budgets from low to high. You will then decide on the option you would like and pay the balance. Your Differential will be built to your specifications and shipped to you with a build report for your records. 2. Inspection Report – A full detailed inspection report and detailed gear ratio graphs tailored to your set up, rebuild quotes, and suggestions tailored for you and your van.
3. Rebuild charge
4. Case preparation including intensive cleaning and re-tapping and cleaning all threads.
5. New Parts. We only use the best quality parts for rebuilds these are constantly tested by me for quality and best price. These parts are sourced from all around the world where possible we use original VW or OEM parts where possible.
   1. New pinion bearing FAG
   2. New diff bearings Timken or SKF
   3. New nose cone bearings SKF
   4. New output shaft bearing (INA)  and  fittings
   5. New seals and gaskets, and circlips best quality either original VW or OEM
   6. Strip and rebuild of your Differential with new thrust washers and hardened roll pin.
   7. If your Differential is broken you may need other items such as speedos etc which we can discuss

Slots are on a first-come-first-served basis. We generally aim for a turnaround time of a month from receipt of your box but this can sometimes be longer depending on parts availability and the machine shop. Until we inspect your box it is very hard to say but as stated earlier within about 2 weeks of receiving your box, we shall be able to give you a more accurate quote.
