VW T3 T25 Vanagon Syncro Body Lift Ball Joint Spacers 20mm For use with the VW T3 T25 Vanagon Syncro Body Lift Kit 20mm modular Front Subframe German made and precisely engineered, machined and plated  includes all  necessary fixings required.

When raising a VW T3 Syncro the generally accepted practise is to lift it using either longer springs or spacers and shocks however there are limits to this as we all know over approx 20mm of lift and yo start placing stress on the driveshafts and CV joints which ulitmately lead to premature failure split boots etc. By raising the body you reduce the stres on these components and are still able to use longer springs and dampers raising the vehicles body and increasing suspension travel. Since the Syncro’s independent suspension means that simply using longer springs and shocks won’t raise it significantly, you quickly reach the point where a body lift becomes necessary. By placing shims between the transmissions and the body, you reduce the stress on the driveshafts (and incidentally increase their lifespan). This, in turn, allows you to install longer springs and shocks, raising the vehicle’s body and increasing suspension travel. However, it’s crucial to only shim as much as necessary, otherwise you’ll lose ground clearance at the transmissions.

Please note that this is only to be used in conjunction with the associated Syncro Body Lift Kit 20mm modular Front Subframe spacers and engine mounts available. Only approved for use on public roads after inspection by your local road authority TÜV etc ! Otherwise, only for motorsport use.

Complete set consisting of 2 spacers one for each side to fit the threads on the ball joints need to be drilled out
