VW T3 T25 Vanagon 12V Underfloor heating 2 zone bundle.  We are pleased to announce the introduction of byta 2 zone set up which will allow the use of double the power of the starter kit and to add an additional heating zone such as a roof bed or side panelsmore. By the use of a dual input and and output temperature controller the kit can be expanded safely to 32A of current allowing for more heating area. buy using 2 temperature regulators in one housing we can utilise 2 measurement inputs and 2 control outputs for 2 different zones if required.
These are are the perfect heating option for travel and adventure. Whether ceilings or floors, low-voltage heating foils are extremely flexible, but are easy to lay and quick to install.
12V Electric Underfloor Heating
The heating foil also called carbon heating foil, is the thinnest version of electric floor heating.
It consists of two copper strips that supply an electrically conductive coating on a carrier material. Almost the entire surface within the heating foil heats up evenly and thus provides, Over the entire laid surface for pleasantly warm floor.
Compared to other electronic heating systems, the energy used is converted into infrared rays with almost no loss. What makes the infrared heating foil so efficient.
The 12Volt DC version offered here is ideal for use in the car, motor home or camping.
The surface reaches a max temperature of 35-40C°, depending on the substrate and ambient temperature
The heating film is available in various widths 14cm, 30 and 50cm and up to 3Metres in length (for the purposes of testing we have install ed 2 1 metre lengths which gives 1 square metre of heating surface on the floor more info below ). Due to its width this heating film is for small projects such as underfloor heating, heating for battery box, panel and even ceiling heating

4 Spare metres of heating film underlay with Vapour barrier The heating film underlay serves as additional insulation and allows the connection cables of the heating film to be accommodated. Simply cut out the underlay where you need to make space for the connection cable. The heating film underlay meets the requirements of the EPLF and MMFA
4 metres of Moisture Barrier for heating films this is to be laid as an additional protective layer/vapour barrier over all infrared heating foils. The foil protects both the heating foil and the floor covering laid over it from moisture. Please note that the heating system like any underfloor heating system will not provide any noticeable radiant heat feeling such as that say for instance an open fire would however your feet will feel warm. It is an infra red heater not a blown air heater and so it does not heat the air per say but objects or people which will eventually heat the air, an air heater will heat the air which then in turn heats objects or people.

It will never heat a van quickly the way a Propex or diesel heater will,  as they are not designed that way and would not have the wattage a propex or diesel heater would produce.. The system however would work as a perfect compliment to a blown air heater to maintain the temperature overnight after using the blown air to preheat the van. It would be especially useful in stealth camping situations or to use when you are not near the van.
